Where can I "make my own brake line"?
« on: August 02, 2011, 04:41:05 PM »
Does anyone know a website where I can fnd custom made braided steel brake lines? I have a K7 with the pressure switch which I want to eliminate and use a banjo bolt with a switch instead. Anyone can help? Thanks.

You made me think about it after I cheered knowing someone else would like to know what these control freaks are up to.

Great, thanks! What I need is this:

http://slingshot-cycles.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_58_6_63&products_id=55

Does anyone know whether this is long enough for flat track type handlebars? They don't give the length :-(

Check with off road shops in your area, they will make you custom lines as needed.

Contact slingshot, tell him what you need, and he'll likely be able to make what you need. He did mine.

Z1 carries lines both rubber and braided. If you're running a dual caliper, he has double banjoes with the integrated brake switch

+1 Slingshot. He'll do custom stuff if you have the measurements. I needed line for superbike instead of clubman bars on my 750K, and he added the extra few inches for free.
