I'm about to powder coat my frame, i have it completely disassembled and cleaned. there is only one item have haven't been able to remove and thats item 6 in the picture below. it's the small hard rubber bushing in the swingarm where the rear shock attaches. i suppose i could get a bearing puller or press them out but if i can get away with powder coating and leaving them in I will do that. ideas?

Yes, they should be removed. Otherwise the rubber will burn up when the powder coating is cured.

i'm not doubting this but just for the record i had my frame powdercoated before i knew about having to remove those bushings and they are both fine. i do have two new bushings and i'm replacing the old bushings just because the old ones are...old.

i'm guessing it also depends on the temp and length of time its baked. I'm not sure how the place i'm having it painted does it. i tried a similar method of removal to the one mentioned in the thread above but these little guys are stuck in there real good  :-\

I've powder coated a few swing arms now, and just leave those in.  They'll take the heat fine, and I cured at 350F.  If you are concerned about the temp, then check with the paint shop to see what temp they use.  If they are 350 or lower, then don't worry about it.

i think i'm going to see what temp the shop bakes at and leave them in. i tried to remove them myself tonight but there going to have to be pressed out by a pro. worse case scenario; the rubber bakes off and i take it in and have them pressed out and new ones pressed in.

You can press them out with a c-clamp and large deep socket.

They'll be fine.  Powder coat requires high temps, but not high enough to damage that rubber.
