I don't know about black spokes, but if you call Bucahnan's Spoke and Rim at 626-969-4655, and tell them what you have, they'll be sure you get the right spoke length and size.

I think when you look them up on Bikebandit.com for your year they are listed by mm length?

I would assume one is the inside of the hub. The other the outside. You could take a spoke out and measure it to be sure.

Both the front and rear wheels use two different types of spokes, 20 of one kind on the front wheel plus 20 of the other kind.  Same thing is true for the rear wheel.  The difference, other than length, is the angle of the bend and the length of wire after the bend.

There is a more important point though.  If you have to ask how many spokes are required* its not very likely you are going to have much luck lacing the wheel, let alone truing it.  On top of having to buy the spokes and nipples you will also need a spoke wrench, some sort of holding stand for the wheel, and a dial indicator and associated mounting blocks/clamps/rods.

* why didn't you just count the number of spokes in your wheels?

Maybe just get spokes and have them powder coated?
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

i know how many spokes per rim

the only thing i need to know are the sizes!!!! i posted what i thought where the sizes and i just wanted someone to chime in and confirm.

the only thing im going to do is lace the wheels

trueing and all that jazz ill get a shop to do

=========================

the reason im looking for black spokes and not get them powder coated because the places i called biatched about how they will hang them to get a good even cover and bake.

and there would be more labor $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ hanging 40 spokes and powder coating them

Most powder coaters will "shy" away from this. As did mine. Its very tedious to powder-coat 80 spokes and nipples. Then there's the threads which you don't necessarily use all of which would yeild you a nice area of uncoated spoke. I bought the ones on ebay and left them zinc / chrome. Heres the pic:

I'm not sure but you may be able to black anodize them. Look up home anodizing steel. Its kinda dangerous though...
