Dyno cover removal

Is there an easy way to remove the dyno cover? I have taken out the screws but can't seem to pop it out and there isn't a place to pry it out. Do I have to remove the inner dyno cover as well and push it out from the inside?

i just give is a light tap with a rubber mallet, dont bash into it.... you just need to jar it to break the gasket seal, hope this helps..peace
