Dunlops d 404 tires what ya think of them

Hey all
well I went and got some of them to replace the old Avon front and Cheng Shin rear.
Both wore out. This will be my first matching set of motorcycle tires ever.
Unless you count the ones on my one and only new bike back in 78.
    Any hoot I ride most of the time two up .Just hopping for something more then the last rear one.
The cheap Cheng #$%* gave me over three years and about 6,000 miles , that was on Marquis 130/90/17
   Just seeing if I blew it or did well. I know read here then ask then buy. Dad always said I was half ass back wards.
 Have to say the Avon was great! still had wear left. It weather check in the sides and tread bad .
  I got it used  same time as the rear . There just to much for me to get now so I went for the Dunlops ad less then $100 for the set at AMT.
Now any one want to come to Fresno and practice mounting and balancing on them  ;) ;D

i've had them on my bike for about 4 months and love them so far. they are fairly grippy but they ride really smooth.  for the price, i don't think you can do much better for just good street tires.  if you're looking for racing amazacrazy tires you might end up wanting something more however.  i ride my bike like a 60 year old on a scooter in a state park so....

I have close to 2,000 mi. on my 404's. I like them, I too am not an agressive rider, but they seem to handle/grip well to at least moderate levels.

I've had mine on for a couple months now.   Seems really good.  couldn't beath the price.

I haven't had any issues with them but I tend to be more on the reserved side of riding.....sometimes I get carried away a little on those nice days though sometimes for the worse **rubs scar on chin**

wow you all sound like we ride the same way . grandpa slow and easy !I will say this they are smooth. they also seam to be a better grip now to roll some miles on them as right now just over 200 on them but wow i am liking them .
