My best friend selling his rare and bada$$ race bike on egay
« on: December 11, 2011, 07:43:29 am »
My buddy has decided to part with his Kawi H2 race bike. I know it's not sohc but a worthy vintage race bike, anyway. If you gents know anyone interested please tell them to check it out. He will ship anywhere. He has raced it on the high banks of Daytona and it is very fast.

Awesome bike, I plan to have a Kaw triple in my garage in the future.
He should have no trouble selling it for $7K, or whatever his reserve is set at.
Have you ridden it?

yes! It reminds me of a front end heavy YZ490 with to much traction. Scary to say the least! Thad(owner) is 6'-4" and 220# and he calls it his BEAST!

I just get to do chassis and fab work. Will have to build another one.

If You can't fix it with a hammer, You've got an electrical problem.

It sold to someone in New York who collects and races two strokes. This will be his biggest and promises to race it, too. Sounds like a good home for it.

TG,
The frame mods(added tubes) can be seen in some of the pics in the auction pics. The link is still good.
