Mike is it normal to see cams this far out of spec?

I'm pretty surprised to see this severe of an off spec cam.
Long duration cams move the powerband up the RPM range and I would think the difference you have could be the difference between a Hot Street cam and a Race cam. You'd think someone like WebCam could be more accurate at manufacturing or recording the actual specs.

I agree Jim. This is a Megacycle cam and I thought it would be real close to spec. I don't know the details of the cam grind process but it seems it can't be to difficult to make a cam that's specs are actually accurate. As long as it works is all that really matters I guess.

Have you talked to the manufacture about this?

You might want to Branden.
Your cam seems to be a mix of a couple different specs and the application is very different between the offerings.

Here are a few new pictures. I had my headlight bucket, fork brace, gauge backs, rear fender, and rear brake arms coated black. I love the way this bike is starting to look I just wish I could finish it sooner. I need LOTS of stuff! Being the basket case this was I am having to buy everything. Not much original on this build that's for sure.

Thanks Jim, yup they are. I have been very pleased with them on TAO. Some people have reported cracks on theirs lately but so far none for me. Hope it doesn't become an issue!

Well glad to hear its gonna be soon.
As for the cold I have no sympathy for ya. I can remember a few months ago you mentioned 100 deg weather and wakeboarding meanwhile I am shacked up in the house next to the fire eating chili looking at ice outside.

Yes I am spoiled a bit when it comes to the weather at home, There are snowy mountains about an hour south of me here in NZ and the cold southerly wind is doing strange things to my nether regions...{similar to cold water}   :o ;D

My new favorite beer.
HUB hopworks IPA.
Never did I think I would find a beer that was better than Stone IPA. This rivals it for sure and comes in a friggin can! Mind = BLOWN

Oh man, I love a good IPA.  Not too much of that over in Europe while I work for the next couple of weeks, but I will definitely have my share of Belgian Abbey Ales. :-)

One of my fav's too.
Unfortunately the local was out so I went with Total Domination IPA.
Life could be worse I suppose.

I love IPA. Some people like vintage and rare wine or maybe even Scotch. Me, it's all about craft beer and especially craft IPA. It is an acquired taste and very "hoppy" but man I absolutely love a good IPA.

Jim,
Ruud IPA is among my top 10 for sure.
