He does that periodically. Slips in, answers a few PMs, then dashes away. He is still reachable via PM or personal email. He's very much alive and well when last we corresponded.

My suggestion, for what it's worth, is that if anyone has a problem or negative comment with another individual please keep it to yourself, with that person directly or on the proper stage.  :)

Wow a thread for me ?  Who'da.

I'm still in the middle of a move to AZ.  And, I had to take a break from packing up 45 years of living in the same house and the agony of throwing away perfectly good stuff.  Hence the postings.

I have to get back to the task at hand here in CA.  Most of the bikes have already made it to AZ.  And the parts stash has still to be packed up for the move.  Got a big shop in my own building at the new digs.  On 5 Acres.  Such a luxury.  Can't wait to get back.  Travel next week.   Not so interesting 750 mile trip, 13-14 hrs.  I do all the driving, towing a 16ft enclosed trailer behind a Ford Excursion.  The 360 big block in the 72 Ford truck just didn't have the guts and needed to have the pedal on the floor for 80% of the 750 mile drive, so it's now just my "farm truck".   I still like that truck and didn't want to blow it up on one of the grades.
No internet yet in AZ.  So, probably will go dark again soon.  Have lots to set up in the house and work area.

Thanks for all the well wishes and welcomes.

Cheers all,
Lloyd... (SOHC4 #11 Original Mail List)

I am truly happy to see you back. This place lost an amazing amount of expertise which was substituted by lot of conjecture and misinfromation.

313 miles/ 5 hours 6 minutes.

Dunno.  Hard to predict.  I thought I'd be all moved by about now.  THAT was clearly wrong.  I'm certainly going to be a busy boy the next few months at least.

Er...That's monsoon season, isn't it?  Think I'll need some new rain gear.

+2 on that

Best wishing on the moving, it is exhausting work mentally and physically...
The only positive is you get to see everything again and maybe if lucky remember where you put it.  I finally started inventorying contents of things giving them a detailed list and labeling so I can find stuff later.

Scan a copy on the computer so if you need to you have a copy of the inventory...

Safe travels and loading and unloading to you and the Missus Lloyd.

Yes. I'd say it's about time we finally met.  :)  It may actually be a little further for me.

Yes. I'd say it's about time we finally met.  :)  It may actually be a little further for me.

I'll have to see what I can arrange.  Seems doable, even with conflicting to do list items.  Hmmm, will need overnight accommodations somewhere, I expect.

Just what I need, something else to plan.    Isn't retirement supposed to be LESS busy?
