no flak, I want to see the finished product.  Unless I missed it, lol.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Yeah, aircraft technology for motorcycles. Jaguar did the same for their C Types in the 50's.

I'd love to see the finished piece too.

Flak for not posting something shiny was my thinking. :D

Hey MikeB I wish Honda would bring that bike to the US. I've seen that 'trike' before too. Creative to say the least.

RR, do you know if the tail of the silver Segoni is of their making? I've seen similarly fashioned seats and dig it.

Ecosse, it's a typical Laverda SFC style tail. Commonly available from various glassmakers. RR

Thanks, I've seen it around but wanted to know who to credit. ;D

Man, I've become obsessed with the spine frame approach- elegant and a bit out of the ordinary.

Only one way to get it out of the system, yup... get one.

Thanks for finding those Ecosse.  To me, that Laverda Segoni is actually perty sweet.

Sooo... why not just mod a sohc to look like lt.

the swingarm pivot eont end up the same but you can still curve the tubes in the air cleaner area. The subrame will be the easy part, similar  forks and swingarm can be bought.

probaly have to build the tank...

"probaly have to build the tank..."

Not easy (or cheap) to come by unless it has a few dents, but the tank looks very similar to a GB500 tank.  RR

But... if Mama-san Honda built/brought this and it's sister the 1100f here then you'd have a new bike with a warranty and good brakes, etc... to share the garage with your classic. Just sayin' people often want a new bike for different reasons for wanting classic.

Yeah I can see that, But I would rather have an old one that kicks butt..

I just cant see buying new when you could get 2 that appreciate.

But Mainly, it appears that it is simply not available over here...and.. you could probably  build something simliar for 1/2 of what the new would cost (maybe not).. .. a very nicely done custom can hold its value.

I am thinking the new one is 9K or more..

Disco Volante does. In fact, I bought my last one from them. Not sure how expensive the shipping to the US would now be, though. They're also available from Cosmopolitan Motors in the US. RR
