She is looking real nice Jim. You have done a great job and I hope you don't have too much in the way of teething probs with her with her early runs.

I'm not getting any spark. Where should I start?
Lots of battery ..lights etc. Can't get the plug to arc on the block.
Where would I test first. I'm thinking the start/kill swith may not function...

Check for 12v at the black/white wire coming from main harness to the coil. If you suspect the kill switch, separate it's connection in behind the headlamp. Cheers ... Phil

I've finished my project!!!

special thanks to everyone who has helped here along the way, I'm certain i couldn't have completed this with your help.

These are some pics of the finished bike.
It has a twin ... did the green one last year !








I got it out of a barn in New Brunswick (Canada) and took it home to Nova Scotia for the TLC.
It hadn't run for more than 20 years.



And a final video clip to let you see that it actually does run

Excellent Jim ... good to see them running again. I love them with 4 into 4 exhausts. If/when you come over you can ride one of mine.

LOL... I am having a problem with that you're correct.  I have 2 sons.. 14 and 16 respectively. I hope to have each of them help me figure that out (I also have a 750 :-).

Very good choice!  I have one son, who's turning 32.  He and I (plus another friend of mine) are planning a trip to Americade shortly.  However, we will be riding "modern" bikes.  My son just installed a big windshield on his cruiser so he'll be more comfortable.  ::)  When he was 15-16, he started up my old SuperHawk, and that got me into this "vintage Honda" thing.  It would be cool to ride around with the old bikes and young sons.  Be sure to post a picture of you three!

I'm north-east of Toronto a little.  My oldest daughter lives outside of Antigonish...and we got our grandson a little 50cc Honda a few years ago - so the tradition can continue.  Teach em good and keep them safe, eh!
