You're welcome. The Dusty in Memphis is my favorite overall album of hers.
I have a nice Carpenters one but for some reason, I can't burn it. I tried many different times and it wouldn't work. You can have it though if you pay shipping which shouldn't be much. I'll also try to scan the liner notes from the Dusty CDs for you so you have some of the history and playlist that goes with the album. She was one talented, groovy lady.
Perfect music for your car.
Mickey, I appreciate that, if you are sure about the Carpenters CD. Just to hear how Karen can get so mellow, just sets me back. I like Dusty because of her beautiful voice and then Karen, because SHE also has a voice worth listening to as well and I could listen to HER ALL day too! Lots of different people AND groups from back then, that i really enjoy. Thing is, there are some whose song seem to fit whatever mood I am in and then there are SOME who I just like the general sound that fits how I am feeling. Do you get what I am so clumsily trying to say? Some have a certain message, while others just make me feel better hearing them.

When I was at my first base, in the Air Force, my room mate went to bed each night with a Jackie Deshanon Album on his record player. It was like a tradition with him. Didn't bother me any, I already liked her "What the world needs now, is Love" and
"Put a little Love in your heart".

You are SO right about Dusty being one talented Lady, my thoughts as well.
I would really like the Carpenter CD and the Dusty Stuff, if YOU are sure about it.
Just let me know how much, and thank you again, Bill
