This bike has been a constantly evolving project. I will work on it solving and creating problems...

Man I see some things going on here that I really like. We gotta know more about the tank and front end. First 550 I've seen with a oil pressure gauge. It's mean looking!

I do gotta ask, are you not going to slide right off that seat? Angle seems off, aesthetically and functionally. The swing arm is a hard sell for me, seems kind of clumsy/bulky looking. Is it hard tailed or mono shock? Hard to tell from the pic. Only constructive criticism though, a lot of nice work so far.

Overall an exciting project, keep us up to date on progress!

The seat is just for mock up. I am making an aluminum pan for it. The rear end is a monoshock with an adjuster. The tank is a vintage handmade Cb750 tank. I am in the problem solving stage right now...so a good critique is OK. Bike is far far from finished though.

The headlight has a grill lightpipe that I made. It is made specifically for this headlight but I am working on a universal one for the stock 7" headlight. Anyone interested?

The front end off the Hurley Engineering bike is GSXR, the front end off the Frankenbike is ZX12R. If you ask me which one to buy I would have to say.......BOTH! ha. You can see the Hurley Engineering bike by following this link to his thread on th SOHC4 forum. http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=34836.0

the "fb" on the tank is really cool.  it reminds you of  the "marque" of Ettore Bugatti.

Yeah....dont tell VW. I am a big fan of the Bugatti Veyron. I was first using the logo for this bike but, now as I am developing my own custom parts I am using it as a logo. I am not big enough to worry about anything legal.....yet. There are a couple other logos but, I have too much already dedicated to the "FB". Thanks for noticing!!
