Where Does The Time Go?
« on: January 19, 2011, 05:31:55 PM »
As I sit here reading the various forums my total logged in time just passed 5 days ... 120 hours ... in 4 months ..  30 hours per month ... 1 hour per day.  No wonder I never get any work done on my motorcycle.

I think it would be interesting to find out who has the most hours logged on.  Post away.

Logged in doesn't mean you're interacting with the forum. I have unintentionally left it on screen overnight more than once. If you want to hold the record logged on time, just keep a browser window open here all the time. Since I think you can be logged in from two (or more) computers simultaneously, maybe you can even add time faster than time itself!

I consider it a good measure of the amount of time I sit here waiting for the damnedable UPS truck to arrive.  It is not this site that slows down the build, its big brown that's holding me up.  Well, that and the bike sitting in an unheated building while temperatures have not got above freezing around here three days out of the last 75.

I'm one hundred and twenty eleven :D :D :D :D
Most of my time on line was when I worked four 12 hour nights as a security guard and I was a few days short of Bill440cars at the top of the pile.
At the end of 09, I went onto days and didn't get on as much as I had more work to do.
A few months back, my company paid for me to have a phone and to be on line at home.
As soon as I became a full time surfer, I overtook Billy in a matter of days, SORRY Billy ::)

It's not that simple really....as long as you stay active on the forum it will keep track of your time online, but once you've been inactive for 15 minutes it stops. Therefore, after 15 minutes of inactivity you are no longer considered 'online'. Keeping a browser window open all night or being logged in on a second computer won't do it.  :P

Yeah, OLD Sam has managed to overtake me in that respect. Not near as active as I used to be. But be that as it may, OLD Sammy Boy might better keep his guard up.  ;D

Gotta say though, could have been past by a better Mate though. Course, by now, I have been past by several (all of who, I respect).  ;)

Course, as we get older, the time flies by anyway, like it or not. So, might as well be doing what you Like.  ;)
