My Crazy CB750 Chop

I have been building this for over a year now, I think I may be on to something, what do ya think?

The Tank is off my Fury after it was ran over by a guy in a parking lot. The  Fury got repaired and i got the old parts. So what a better place to put it.
This is not my first build with the same front end, I did one for a friend on a KZ900, that turned out great.
More to come soon.

Not something I would set out to build, but definitely something I can appreciate! 

The front end is a really cool design.  Are you using bushings or bearings on the pivot points? 

While the tank is a good fit, it looks a little empty below and forward of it.  Are you planning on putting anything in there or leaving it open?  Or have you thought about cutting up the tunnel and dropping it a little lower?

Can't wait to see this with a seat and maybe a rear fender on it to see the final lines of it.  Nice work!

To answer a couple questions, The springer uses bronze bushings, and works real good. The tank will be cut so to fit down real low to the back bone. Im at a at and still on the project for a few days due to working out of town. More to come soon

Looks like a leading link fork, not a springer.

Better cut off the sidestand mount and relocate it...

Yes it is similar to a leading link, but much shorter rockers and more rake. The side stand has been cut off and relocated some time ogo.

Nice fabricating mate. Looks a bit too long in the back for my liking, the gap between the tank and rear wheel is just too big.....

I'm home, no more traveling for a while. Now to get back on the build. More ideas pop into my crazy head while sitting board in the hotel, should prove to be even most interesting. More pics tomorrow.  ;)
