I know. That's why I specifically said that it doesn't appear that Progressive offers a straight-rate spring on their shocks, which is why I suggested Hagons instead.
Though progressive wound spring on the front DO help as many here will attest. They allow a better ride and reduce the stiction from the forks.

I don't see how it's possible for progressive wound springs to reduce stiction - there's no theoretical basis for it that I'm aware of it. Stiction in forks comes primarily from the potentially large side loads on the fork sliders, and that's not affected by the spring rate (since we're talking about 2 forces that are perpendicular to each other).
If you're claiming that progressive wound front springs result in more brake dive, I don't doubt it.
