So I bought a chopped up 78 cb 550k

I'm trying to figure out what the previous owner was trying to do in terms of the seat. The loop he threw oon is at an extreme angle and shortens the seat. Any idea what he may have been intending or what type of seat this is suited towards.

Looks like a badly measured attempt for a single seat cafe project to me....
