Get a piece of sheet metal for the plate. Doesn't need to look pretty. I used the holes where the finder screws into the frame. I made it stick out just enough so the numbers can be read. Cops never pull me over as the running light lights up the plate at night.

BTW, thanks for such a great look. Hence why I changed my look on my 550.

Thanks Tews I will figure something out ,now I gotta figure out some type of light to light the plate up at night. I hadnt really thought of that lol...I am not sure if it will pass inspection without that will find that out.

Seat got done today I think it came out alright nothing fancy . Now on to painting it..

Seats looking good man. I can almost bet money that you'll need a license plate light to pass. You can buy bolts with LEDs for like 10 bucks but they have to be wired to the harness somehow.

Well paint is done.. Still deciding if I want anything on the side covers was thinking 550 in white..Also going back and forth on the white honda wing logo on the gas tank. I had some round honda wing emblems but they wont fit flat on the 500t gastank.

That white trims really make all the difference. I could see white trims on the side cover to match with the tank. Great job Matt.

Are all these rattle can job? Or paint using paint gun and compressor?

The bike looks great! I also have a 74 550 that I'm rebuilding and would like to put in a 650 cam. What year bike did the cam come from?

Thanks Jalfonso any cam from 79-82 cb650 will work.

Awsome Larry so glad for you that everything worked out on the house now you can start a new chapter in your life.. Sunday works for me will get us some beer and brawts.

It was all done with rattle can I tried the spraymax k2 and I liked it..

Bike looks great...is the panel outlined in white darker inthe center or it lighting? Are the side covers dark ble or black?
It came out looking very good and flows well.
