Yes, it does look a bit moist out there. Looking at radar, the rain is in no hurry to get out of Godzilla's way. Hope the rain knows what it's doing. Hope it knows what happens to things that fck with Godzilla!!

Dave

Just got bike out of the shop today and told Bruce that we are ready to escort GZ wherever. You know we have to treat this lizard right are suffer from his wrath. I have no planned route. I initially had planned for the east side of MI. up to Canada for the handoff maybe ride thru Canada and come back to the D thru Windsor (took time off from work). Plans are open and flexible. Send me a PM with number lets set something up. Also I understand that DJ may have some time to ride also during the week or whatever. We can also include Ohio. I think that GZ needs to breathe some fire on those Ohioans.

Carbs are on and bench synced.  Got the GPS mounted, sort of.  Pulled the grips off the '72, the ones on the '73 were foam that was deteriorating and becoming sticky.  I still have to pack, so let me know when and where.  I'll brave the rain if anyone else wants to.

Been trying to track down DJ, no luck. Sean and I are assuming he's headed for Marshall.

So, Sean is packing up and headed there to meet him. Im staying home cuz I'm a wimp... er, I mean, to coordinate things.  Sean is planning to head East and will stay tonight in Brighton. Details on tomorrows ride to be worked out yet.

I'll do my best to keep everyone informed. My phone number is 269 two seven four 3192 if ya need to talk to me. Otherwise, watch this space, let me know if you can ride Sat &/or Sun.

Ride Safe Y'all!!

I saw a post from DJ where he posted a pic of Lefty.  I couldn't see the pic for some reason, but I assume that since he took a pic of Lefty that he and Sean fount each other at Dark Horse!

I also assume that they headed East after some tasty treats there at DH.

Now, as for where things are headed next.... I'm not sure.

Sean, DJ, gime a call (269-274-3192) or post your plans here.  Plenty of riders chomping at the bit to get in on this ride!!

Yep... rode in the rain. Somehow I end up doing that... I don't mind  ::)
Tried checking for posts of postponements, but missed 'em....
No worries...
Anyway... Met up with Sean at the Dark Horse, had a bite to eat and a brew.
And then a damp and slightly chilly run to Ann Arbor where Sean went North to Brighton and I headed home.

I'll be busy Saturday but may be able to rip another ride on Sunday depending where y'all are at.

Does anybody even know if Sean made it to Brighton safely?  Anything could have happened in the rain.

The rain had for the most part subsided by the time we got to AA.
That would leave only about 15 miles then to Brighton from there.

I think the plans for today and Sunday are still TBD.

Well, it's almost noon and Sean hasn't contacted anyone.  It gives me pause for concern.  I don't know about you guys but Sean was gung ho about the Tour and it doesn't seem like him not to keep the ball rolling.

Well, he's an accomplished biker, used to riding in the rain, at night and long distances. I think the only realistic explanation is that he .... KIDNAPPED LEFTY!! A LIZARDNAPPING!!

Sigh, he doesn't have a cell phone, so I have no idea how to get ahold of him. Hopefully he'll contact someone soon
