Wow Coke, is that an Elvis/BB King museum or something in your pics?  Gotta go to Memphis someday I guess, & see that myself, I'm a big fan of the old blues master & will be seeing him again on the 25th. (hope it's not the last time, he's really getting up there in age, even more than our 4's!)  That's a great, bulletproof 350 you've got, congrats on the ride (so far).

that is the Memphis welcome center off I40

But you can visit the Stax museum, and the Sun Studios Museum in Memphis.. I did both of those a couple years ago.  pretty neat stuff.

Well, team South has passed the baton to team KS, NE, CO etc. Taxiscooter and Zeek loaded up their bikes and headed south but I wanted to get another state under my belt so I road with Westondc up to Nebraska and then headed back south to marysville and on US 36 over to St Joseph MO. Stopped just south of there at nearly 11:pm for the night. Great relay so far guys.

Update................Bluto aka Bill here.

After the unfortunate events of May 5th when we Ga boys handed off to the Nashvegas gang.......I am happy to report that I'm healing up fine...My bike is running better than ever (the engine problem was just an un-noticed dent in the stator cover doin some rubbin) and the creep that hit me and ran is doing 2 years.  Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers......see y'all at Barber if not before.

Bill

ps.....anybody got a nice clean set of fork ears for  a 76 550K?  They just don't look right after you "beat em straight" ;D
76 550K bought brand new...mothballed for 30 years... and still running great

Good News, Bill.  Look forward to Oct, maybe I'll be riding again by then, and we'll take time for a good ride.
