Well after a long hiatus of sorts, I have been swamped with my jobs and getting ready to move. I finally have some info to share. I got the bike reassembled and close to done, The wire harness was redone, I've got new tires on it, some clip on bars, rebuilt the brake caliper, new gauges/top tree, installed the pamco, rebuilt carbs, new filters, new seat and rebuilt the forks. Today I got the bike idling steady without the choke and will be checking the timing tonight. When I get a moment I'll post up a picture of the bike.

FYI - the PO may have thought it was a K3 if it was first sold in 1973.  Same thing happened with my K2.

Well here it is for now, I plan on doing more work after we move. I rode it the other day and it was a treat to ride.

It has been registered as a 73 since the beginning, but when checking the numbers and frame badge its a K2. I did some more research and apparently it was the euro release in the planet blue color.
