That plate looks like the mounting plate for an ARD mag, but i never saw one on a 550
Anyone get the bug?http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-CX500T-CX500-CX-500-Turbo-Unit-Turbocharger-IHI-/400074109932?hash=item5d264673ec&item=400074109932&pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtrI just noticed the price.....
How did i miss this one. What a score Greggo! I can not tell you how jealous I am. I want to build a turbo bike so bad. I just dont know enough to start one from scratch. That bike is going to be killer.
That's a beautiful project Greggo, I'm glad that you jumped on that bargain, Carpy doesn't give much away for cheap like that, so you really scored. I'm really looking forward to seeing a youtube vid of that little beast firing in anger not too long from now! Cheers, Terry.
Thanks Greg, the Dyna 2000 is a much better setup than an ARD magneto mate, so well done. Interestingly I thought Mick (Retro Rocket) had bought that ignition from Andy, I wonder what happened? Maybe he had 2 for sale? Cheers, Terry.
Oh, OK guys, I'm with you now. Hey Ken Cheers, the owner of the K1 I'm working on, bought a new Dyna 2000, coils and wires from a bike shop in the US for $380 bucks, plus shipping? I'd buy one myself, if I had a bike to put it in? Cheers, Terry.
