Love the old pics, everyone!

Cavebear - Your bike takes the cake, man!  How long did it take you guys to get it lowered down from the attic?  Did you wind up having to hoist it back up when you rebuilt it?  That's the earliest picture I've seen of a cb750 with the (dual) calipers mounted behind the forks, not to mention the turbo.  What year were those pics taken?  What happened to the bike, do you still own it?

.
After checking more photos, the Goldwing did have a CB.

It took about 10 minutes to lower the bike after hookup.

The bike was rebuilt in my living room.

Dual disc conversion was simple. Swap fork legs and turn backwards. The speedometer keeper on the front
wheel gets an extra notch and it's done

Yes I still own the bike, along with the others on my list.

Being a somewhat young guy this is slightly depressing. I can see that in just a few years I'll be looking back at pics of me and my brothers / friends and how cool and young we were then. The only problem.... The bikes we ride now will never stand the test of time as did these Honda's. These bikes will always be cool no matter what anyone says or thinks. I think somewhere in there I made a worthwhile point. These are great pictures! Keep em coming!

Could that be why Honda decided to discontinue the sweet SOHC? I thought this myself. It is as though they understood the great engineering and quality craftsmanship that went into these machines. Like they knew they wouldn't be in business very long because the quality of the bike was going to outlast almost any other bike for the price. I guess you can only build perfection once.

Bought it in the summer of '67--$125--(came with the tow bar--very rare) I had put an ad in the Chicago Tribune saying that I was looking for a Harley 3-wheeler.
Got a lot of calls but most were already chopped. Looked at an Indian 3-wheeler which I passed on.!!!
