I had the problem of the tach and speedo needles sticking to the glass so I pulled them Both apart. Is went well and the needles were warped. I filed them down and epoxied some 1/8 inch dowel rod I ground and painted onto the center rotating disc. They move freely. They point at zero with the bike off but both the tach and speedo are not reading anywhere close to correct. Does the weight of the needle have any affect on the accuracy. It's mechanical so I didn't think it would. What have people used for new needles. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
