Here in western NY we have A lot of craft breweries. The big commercial brewery is Genesee in Rochester. I like their ice beer. They also make Twelve Horse Ale and Cream Ale. both are good. When you're up this way, Try some.

I had a couple Odell 90 shillings. After replacing the pump in the swamp cooler. It died only after 15 years. Home Depot and a few hours and I was done. A little hot on the roof mid day today.

Bought me a six pack of honey brown lager and a 6pack of killians irish red. Never had either before. Always been a lager fan so figured might as well.

A beer I've grown to really enjoy lately is Gray's Oatmeal Stout.  Kind of like Guinness, but easier on the wallet.    :D

They are in Chicago area.  I've only had the Honkers Ale and it is my current #1.

without getting too fancy and staying domestic, some of my more affordable favorites are from Anderson Valley, Great Divide, Stoudt's, Breckenridge, Bells, Duck Rabbit, Bear Republic... I guess I could keep going (I work at a beer store with 900+ bottles)

Bells is quite possibly my favorite brewer :) The Two Hearted Ale is awesome! And if you are ever out and about in the beginning of the year and see their Hopslam (of course hoppy if you are into that....which I am!) do yourself a favor and spend the money it takes to get this delicious beer. It is sticker shock for sure, but strong and yum!
