I took off durring my lunch hour at work to have a few pints and watch the end of the second period.  Ended up staying a couple hours and several pints later.  But I made it back to work........That's what you call dedication. :D
Will there be no end to all the Bull #$%* penalty calls by the officials!  Thats what everyone's going to remember about this years WC.  I vote for the use of instant replay! who's with me. J/K
By the way, I was rooting for the Argentina, but I knew it was over when they put in their back up golie, it was destined for failure.
I wouldn't be suprised if they lynch that guy!

I loved the penalty’s thing but for me the Germans and Argentina teams having a punch up afterwards was just the best part it was just outstanding!!!!…us Brits have had issues with both countries  ;D

Here's a quick quizz for you Dave, name a country that England hasn't had issues with? ;D ;D ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Z Z is going to make history for France, non?

Now lets see, every single game I have bet on I have lost.
So I will not bet (running out of $) ;D
and maybe the Actors/Italians will not win.

....shame for England.  Penalties A- G-A-I-N.
Why is it when they're down to 10 men they play some of the best football of the tournament....  always the same, flashes of brilliance but no consistency. Well Sven's gone now and I don't think many will be sad about that, I think his tactics for the World cup were dubious for a lot of people!

Did anyone see the scot Andy Murray demolish Andy Roddick at Wimbledon? Now that was brilliant - go Scotland!!

Full marks to the French - they managed to shut down one of the best offenses in the world - what did Brazil have 1 shot on goal? Now that England is out, not to mention Trinidad, I 'm throwing my support behind the German fans - how fun would that be to have your country win it while you're hosting. C'mon Germany!!!!!!!

I'm running out of teams to cheer for. I guess it will be Portugal - they have never won before - why not. C'mon Portugal!
