Go Portugal! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I picked Germany to win. Lost again. WHat the heck?

I am not picking anyone anymore. I'll just sit back
sip some coffee and watch.

You guys keep jumping on loser bandwagons. Hop aboard the Azzuri Express folks, theres plenty of room!

Did you guys SEE that game? Wow. That is what is referred to as 'the beautiful game". Brazil didn't show it this year, Argentina had it in spurts. Italy is pouring that #$%* on now. The Germans put out a great effort but were ultimately overmatched.

Portugal? :D

Ok, no pick. Lost enough $ already.
BUT the Italians? Hmmmm, we'll see.
Did someone say many of their players will be headed to Series C ?

Well it looks like many will be playing abroad (Spain, England) anyhow, their teams will be forced to sell them if they get demoted. Thats looking like a foregone conclusion. Lets hope they take this opportunity to really clean house, there is far too much corruption in, well, almost every facet of Italy.

I must say that headbutt was shocking...I wonder what the other guy said to him!?!?  Ending your career on a red card?  Of course, he has retired before...

I had to laugh when I saw that "terrible" head-butt, those poor soccer players must be the most fragile athletes on earth, I'm buggered if I know how they can dance around a soccer pitch like they do, but as soon as someone even looks like bumping into them, they go down like a bag of #$%*?

They must have a hell of a time being jostled in crowds, or on public transport, ha ha! Anyway, well done Italy! (the lesser of the two evils..............) ;D

Terry, I agree with you on this one. I got so pissed off with all the acting, I put a film on and watched real actors acting.
Even if there is nothing better to watch, I dont think I will ever watch a footact game again. ;D

I agree - "what a load of poncey overpaid actors....!!" in my fathers words...

well done italy though - I'm glad they won AND I got to find out just how many italians live in my street. They're all very loyal and only own Fiats and Alfa-Romeos too (and possibly Ducatis and MotoGuzzis!)

I love the game. I love that my team are campioni del mondo for the next 4 years. I don't like to gloat, though, so thats it. For the next four years though, I'll give all the Brazil humpers the  :-X sign (sshhh).
