Texas Crew Harvest Classic Meet Up
« on: August 16, 2012, 06:37:43 pm »
Hey all I know it's 8 weeks off but the Harvest Classic (http://www.harvestclassic.org/) is coming up and it would be great to organize an SOHC Texas Crew meet up for the event.  Let me know if there is any interest and we can put something together.

He has it in the correct order.
Nothing wrong with ridin' then drinkin'.

He has it right. The bottom of the Knob Creek bottle is high above forehead.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

They don't drink and ride. They WILL drink, pile into the back of a pick up and try to use their pickup skills on the local barflies hanging out in the parking lot.

I got out of going with my wife and kids to visit her family last year.  There's no way I could pull that off two years in a row.  I promise to make it down there again sometime.

Sounds like a scary event to me!

Pickup trucks, barflies, bikes and booze? Then he can't remember anything?

Oh Lordy. Shoot me!

I'm hoping the guys from Hou and Dal come down Friday and stay for the weekend, and if that's the case, I will too.
Potentially, that could give us Friday afternoon and Saturday to set up days rides in the area.
There are fantastic Hill Country roads that we need to take advantage of, as well as the activities of he Classic, one day is not enough.
Mark your calendars....
