Yeah Bobby, what's the appropriate phrase? "Ridden hard and put away wet"? ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

This looks very similar to the family room in my parents house back in the 60's, but was never lucky enough to have Maureen McCormick sitting on our couch though ;D

I think that was all of our houses back in the '60's... minus Maureen, though.

Poor thing-Family couldn't afford a big floor model console TV.  :-X  I think we were one of the last families around the neighborhood to finally get a fancy real color console RCA TV and it seems I remember it was around $850.00 back then which was big bucks at that time.

We had 3 Channels. I was the remote control. My mom would look at me and say channel 3; I’d get up and turn the dial...  kids these days have no idea...

We did not have a color TV in our house until my brother and I had been in college for a year in 1981.

We had a color TV way back when, as my folk's had a TV store. ;D They would invite neighbors over to watch Bonanza "in living color" in hopes of selling them one.

Color TV with colors adjusted way too rich. I remember the Hockey world championships with Sovjets red guys in bleeding red colors.

I had a friend 1969 with color TV home. Only 2 channels, 1 channel the year before.
My parents did not buy color TV until 1973 so I watched Bonanza and Flintstones in B/W. Anyway the shows all kids loved in the 60's.
The man from Uncle not bad either.
Even Lucys Show  :D and Addams Family in B/W.

Plus some  US sci- fi horror movies from late 50's early 60's.
Often in space or space attacks with pumpkins replacing people with a heartless psykopath copy.

I still watch the Andy Griffith Show on one of the oldies stations. Better TV than what's produced today.
