Did you burn like toast? I worked with a "Krusty" in the Army, but his surname was "Whitbread" so kinda self explanatory. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

When we were kids my sisters and I would have competitions on who could peel the biggest sheet of skin off our backs after the bisters had gone. My schnoz copped it a lot. Did several exercises at Shoalwater Bay and hardly ever wore our shirts, except at dusk when the mozzies came out. Same for when I was in Borneo. Also surfing  and 30+ years windsurfing added extra layers of crust. Have had a lot of bits cut out and periodic applications of Efudix to keep the 'barnacles' under control. Gaelic ancestor piss me off. Ooops wrong thread for that.

More like a "deck cam" this one :

I would find a new program for editing. H.264 MP4 is an industry standard now. Plenty of great options out there. Even GoPro has their own editing program.

Dave,it might be worth looking at a new powerdirector program update...might be cheaper if you do not find a free one out there...any old videos you want to save in newer format will need to be converted, do it now rather than risking it becoming difficult to impossible later...
You want a loss less conversion program or format.

What operating system and version are you running?

Bump...Hey Dave and Evan... resurrecting this thread...what no interesting vids to share.  Gotta be some great stuff you haven't shared... Dave, your life always seems to be in Technicolor...share a little of that colorful life with us as we move into virtually Jan 2020 on the "top" end of the world into our winter as you peak in the heat...
My brother and his family of five (six counting eldest son's fiance whose from South Africa) and my older sister just returned from a month long vacation trip to AU for a few weeks before travelling to NZ. Brother's youngest son has been in NZ for 11 months and returns to the US sometime in May. While in AU they were Brisbane, Sydney, up to Barrier Reef to snorkel and see it, then out to see Ayer's rock and surrounding area.

We have a slight problem here in Australia....

Sometimes the police have used posted video in prosecution....

Speeding, Crossing Double lines, Wheelie...not the best idea to give them evidence....

While living in TN I had a former unmarked Police Interceptor package equipped Ford crown Victoria I bought out of California back in 2010 when the car was 10 years old. It had just over 100k miles and was in very good shape. It was retired from public service about 6 months before I bought it and it was bought at auction from the city and went through two different used car lots before I bought it while I was living and working in  Sierra Vista AZ. Anyway, I was traveling frequently down a state highway 11W between where I was living and Kingsport Tennessee and would often pass a young motorcyclist who would immediately launch his sport bike into a wheelie when he spotted my car coming down the highway in the opposite direction and would ride the wheelie for a long time after we passed. Apparently he mistakenly thought my car was an unmarked county sherrif's car. They use mainly marked cars they are mostly Dodge Chargers and Ford Police Interceptor versions of the small SUV. The Crown Victoria doesn't work great in snow with all season tires for tires with sufficient speed rating to handle any pursuits. Generally they would utilize a Charger when that would occur and the more powerful Motorola radio can nuetralize many attempt to evade arrest since the radios are faster than any car and multiple police cars and spike strips and other methods to stack the odds against anyone stupid enough to try to outrun but people don't learn and think they can beat the statistics stacked against them.

Anyway..Canadian authorities tried to identify a motorcyclist a few years ago who posted video showing him race down many miles of heavily travelled provincial highway at speeds exceeding 180 kph and at times approaching mid 190s. They were using traffic cameras to narrow down the entrance and exits where he had travelled and we're determined to identify and lower the boom on that Hoon.

Stupid risks that draw unwanted attention for all motorcyclist by the police whom are not in a good mood when dealing with that...
Tucson uses motorcycle officers a lot and I have had them pull alongside of me matching or slowing to my speed briefly before accelerating away. The few times they have done it I was traveling about 7-10 mph over posted limit if my speedo is accurate. I often would rather be in front of the pack of cars after a light than in the middle of them.  I like the extra manuevering space it affords and I  often in daytime will begin flashing my headlamps from low to high beam as I approach an intersection to draw attention from any motorist whom is waiting to turn across the incoming traffic with prep to do emergency braking and maneuvering if they happen to cross in front of me. I even flash highs at traffic that pulls up to a side street or is waiting at a side street to pull onto a main artery I am traveling.

Figure it cannot hurt to do so.

People joining all over and sharing the repeated joining behavior of one motorcyclist/squid who did this more than 10 times...it was so frequent that it failed to surprise me but I would wonder nearly every time I saw him do this how much longer would he survive being reckless like that. Practice will improve your skill and he was getting plenty of practice...but you cannot ignore the laws of physics and the statistical odds of having things go pear-shaped. While I didn't ask that question or make that observation that was the reason for posting. The joining behavior and pack mentality of actively and blatantly flounting what they know full well is illegal and they feel n
