Those are for Bert, his idea, but I know that folks have asked about wire wheels on those forks..so I made a second set

Nice work Frank.  Did you do both the rotors and the caliper mount?

Think there's enough room on the rotor to lay out a 5 hole pattern for comstars? :P  I know nobody messes with 'em, but I've got a pair I'm using, and if that's an option, big brakes sure sound better than sourcing late DOHC calipers and brackets...

Looks good frank. Those F2 forks are much easier to work with than the earlier K and F pieces

Thanks guys, the rotor came with the correct 6 hole in it from Bert. I think going 5 hole on existing 6 hole generally does not work unless the 5, is much smaller bolt circle. Many were asking about switching to wire wheels, plenty of 6 bolt ones around.
I tucked them in close, much harder to hold the pces then, to finish machining, but they look better in close..

What would it take to run a Brembo caliper on a stock CB550 fork/disc? I have a RH caliper from an XS650 kit I never installed. I wonder if you could make a bracket to make it work on the 550?

The forks with the swinging brackets, are tougher to put different calipers on, The F style shown, or any fork legs with solid mounting ears are a bit easier to change calipers on.
