I'm just happy not to see any of those below the triple tree roadracer clip ons going on this bike. Now we're set up like a dragbike folks.

Good luck with the 1100F rods. I looked for a long time, but never could find any at an affordable price. ;)

I'm happy to supply a set on loan to move the project forward if need be.
Jon's right they have become a little like rocking horse sh!t.
Rexi Wolfenden, Mick Dewith and to a much lesser extent I haven't helped much I imagine. ::)

Cheers,
Brian

We are about to put our A motor back together shortly and we have tracked down a higher spec cam chain.
This may be of interest to Bill, Jon, Frank and Alex if their projects move forward later on.
The chain is made by Wiseco for a Yamaha Raptor.
It has stronger pins @ 2.77mm.
Wiseco part# CC016.

Cheers,
Brian

I'm having trouble sourcing a primary chain for one of our Hy-Vo motors.
It is for a CB900F, part# 13610-438-004, 52 link.
Apparently it is no longer available from Honda.
Can anybody help me out?

Cheers,
Brian

if you cant find a 900f chain, you can order such chains whatever length and width from Morse  http://www.cross-morse.co.uk/inverted_tooth.asp

hey Bear, you can join the morse link chains yourself, no problem. they sell links that are a press fit, as long as there is no sreious sideways flap going on you are ok. joined my hy-vo cam chain after consulting one of their sales engineers and no worries giving red line a tinkle.

Jon/Bill,
The pic attached shows the reliefs I had to add to the bottom half of my cases to clear the 900 DOHC crank using the 1100 rods.
If you where to add more stroke you may have to consider the Falicon rods with inverted bolts.

Cheers,
Brian

Bear, What is that last crank? The primary chain gear is different.
Those rods are nice. Who makes them?

The crank is from a CB900F it uses Morse or Hy-vo cam and primary chains.
The rods are Falicon,

Question Bear....will a DOHC CB750 crank fit the SOHC cases??  I'm limited to 900cc +5%, so that crank (with the HyVo chains), and a 915 kit would seem to be the way to go.  Alternative would be an 81 CB650 crank (HyVo chains), and Mikes billet barrel.  However that would give a very over square, short stroke engine (72.5 x 55.8).  Probably rev like crazy, but have weak low end torque.  Not so good for a sidecar.  Pm me so we don't hijack the thread.
