If the shaft is bent and the splines are twisted, beware of the kick pawl breaking next. Ask me how i know. Umm, Bill you already know, you sent me a replacement. Lol

Nice.  Tiger it is...     I just noticed that the motor has K0 carbs on it :o.  I'd be interested to know what the carb throats measure out to!  I will assume that they were bored out carbs... ;)

Interesting!

The more i look at the chassis and the pipes on there the more it looks like a trip to a custom muffler shop.

Very interesting machine.

  • I like 'em fast and clean
That bike spent at least 6 months on my desktop!
Inspiration for a toy I need to build :D

If ya wanna try some different pipes I could send ya my crossover 4-2s (1-/4, 2/3 pairing, 1 5/8"OD).
Primaries end about crank centerline, about 10"merge collectors. 2/3 pipes stick out a good amount and should clear those frame tubes. Pipes are within an inch or so of equal length to collector.

Gotta change up the chop due to engine issues, so switching to a '78K with EFI and a turbo, the crossovers will sit on the shelf until the NA big bore motor is back up and running.

Just starting to build them, shows the forward fit, should clear your frame.

Finished pipes on the chopper
