found this at a second hand store for $3.50. still in pretty good shape. not quite sure what i think of it yet. it has an very different shape compared to today's helmets, and i wonder how it would stand against my 1998 HJC.

I hope you are not counting on this to protect you in a crash. The helmet liner most likely has deteriorated and will no longer absorb as it was designed. If you think your head is worth only $35 then go ahead and try it ;). I rode across the US when  I was 22 yrs old on a CB750 wearing a helmet in worst shape than the one you show so what do I know  - thank goodness I didnt crash! 8)

I have had many, many helmets but down to two. The Shoei always seems to be the one I grab.

What's you're head worth?

I'd make a lamp out of it instead of hanging it.
