Trim is painted, it's not a decal

I am not the painter, you can ask Menno Dek( tanklackieren@hotmail.de) which paint has exactly been used.
I bought original side covers, and sent it to him, to create the same paint.
With clear coat as you can see in surnrise there's no difference, and from a close view it is impossible to see it.
In fact it's a candy orange (ink) applied on flakes (2 layers)

Here's my Flake Sunrise Orange 74'. There seems to be many re-paint shades of this color...

Honda hit a home run with the K4 flake sunrise orange paint. :)

It returned again with the introduction of the K6, but it wasn’t available to dealers in the USA.

Pic below is from a German market K6 – note the unique tail light & turn signals:

Dream,

Is that original paint, or a re-paint? Trying to determine how far off my color is...

That German K6 photo was taken from my 750 color files and I have no idea if it’s original paint or not. *Sometimes* you can spot a repaint if the painter omitted painting the “black tab” on the left side cover. K1 to K6 factory paint has the “black tab” present as in this example:

That is a pristine paint job there man. Love it...my K4 orange is still the original paint. My side covers are excellent, but the top of my tank is faded. Decals are very good on mine so opted to stay with the original tank...but you got me thinking there. Just a beautiful job.

So, does anyone have a formula for this color? I'm thinking of going this route and would appreciate any info.

Can you PLEASE share the PPG code for this?

There is no code, its a candy finish, basecoat {Silver} , color {orange} then clear {don't forget the flake}, you need a skilled painter to apply it as the top coat color {orange} changes with every coat, it takes a skilled eye to get it perfect like the bike in this thread...

I've got no problem with paint and body perfection. :)

Maybe I can order a paint chip and have my painter match it.  I'll try emailing the guy on this thread.

Just saw Johnny's post. That should help out a bunch. I think having white cb450 tank decals would look better against this color over the black decals.

...think I bought a K2 gas tank in CandyGold from this guy 2 Years ago, decals was painted too, was his name Menno ?
The CandyGold was much darker and I sandblasted the gastank ~2weeks ago to get the real CandyGold.

The side cover shown is part of the paint project in France I received from the original poster. Orange Crush doesn't have much, if any, sparkle flakes at all I don't think. Seems a lot of current repaint projects have excessive flakes/sparkle added. House of Kolor Tangerine formulas tend to produce a more amber color that has less orange to it.
