Not sure who B.F. is but my favorite episode is the one in which Gilligan screws up the chance of the Castaways being rescued. ;D

I was a fan of Gilligan's Island. I worked with "Ginger" on a small film. What a nasty #$%*! To think of all the tissues other young Men wasted on her. ;)
Dedicated to Sgt. Howard Bruckner 1950 - 1969. KIA LONG KHANH.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

I think she was pissed off that she never really got to be a big time star and thought the show was beneath her.   But in reality it's a great show that seems timeless....everybody watched it at one time...it's a classic.  What TV star wouldn't want to be part of a show that's still popular 45 years after it was made?   In fact it's on right now on one of the nostalgia channels.....gotta go.  ;D

That makes me laugh ;D But your right Eric. Marcia (Maureen Mccormick) will always be a hottie in my book.

By the way, Mary Ann over Ginger anyday.

I am sure she felt Gilligan sank her career, that is most likely not true. She was a Movie Star and not really an actress. She was 30 when Gilligan came along.  She did a lot of TV after that.

I had one good conversation with her when we first met. I was told that never mention Gilligan or Bob Denver. She told me about working with Dean Martin who actually rarely drank, and would sit in his Trailer and watch Westerns between takes. After that she was #$%*ty to everyone and after her 3 days on the set, everyone was happy to see her good. I suspect much of her best acting was on her back.

Worked at the UT Theatre dept in Austin. Alan Hale gave a lecture about theatre and film.
During Q&A he was asked to do some Shakespeare.
In his best Skipper voice He belted out.....

Where? When? Got a link?
I watched a bit of one episode and it made me angry.  :o
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Discussion about Gilligan's Island will always be better than some god awful show on discovery about hacks that hack up bikes.

Originally a post to be humorous, I can see the memory of this episode still feels like a tire-iron up the ass to some of you.  The pain is still to raw to speak about it.  It's ok, you don't have to relive it.  All I ask now is to point me to the post so I can see him get his ass handed to him,

PLEASE GOD DAMNIT >:(

My condolences to you who are mentally maimed now.

I could care less about them hacking up bikes to shock purists, it is just a bike at the end of the day.
The show just sucked complete ass, could have been done way better and made sort of cool.

I don't disagree with you, would have been better if the builders weren't rich enough to do whatever they wanted to see how they are able to build cool bikes.
