I've got a pair waiting to go my BMW and my 572 build, and maybe the 500. As for their effectiveness, they're at the end of the bar, so I don't see the interference, except, maybe from the rear.

I think the interference from your arms (that I mentioned) is probably a non issue, since any blockage would be to the rear, where you will be getting a separate turn signal from the rear indicators.  These look great and would seem to have great effectiveness for traffic traveling next to you.  Are there multiple LEDs on all sides of the signal?  Since it is not a forward facing blinker, I was wondering if the portion visible to on-coming traffic was bright enough.  That said, I am sure they are MUCH brighter than an old stock incandescent bulb.

They are left and right sided, and have an orientation (top/bottom) to assure that the light rings are oriented forward and rearward. Haven't installed or powered them yet, but I'm certain they will be quite noticeable, especially being that far away from the headlight (which we all know is the number 1 issue for indicator blindness on motorcycles as claimed by motorists).

This latter point is actually causing me consideration to relocate my indicators on the 550 despite being LEDs, they're on the headlight ears. Even from 15' away in driveway, they're overrun by the H4 headlight.

The bleed-over affect of the headlight makes sense.  Hmm.  Something to think about.  Thanks for giving me a reason to blow more money on Motogadget goodies!

The upholstery looks great.  How is the pan secured to the seat? 

Color choice is such a subjective thing but a great way to put your stamp on the bike.  Are you thinking of a colored PC for the frame or leaving the color to the body work?

I know Pod filters are a pain in the ass to get tuned with stock carbs. I get it. I don't care though. I will admit that the pods are on this bike mainly for a cleaner look.

With that said, does anyone have a good resource for attempting to tune pods with stock carbs? The only engine mods are the exhaust and electronic ignition for now. I plan on doing a stock freshening up on the motor in the near future and that will probably be the most in performance upgrades the engine will see.
The search function just directs me to a bunch of threads where people are going back and forth on trying to convince the original thread poster on putting the airbox back on.

Yep exact same one as yours. I got a great deal on a ton of GSXR parts from a wrecked bike so I'm trying to incorporate as much as possible. Had to make my own brackets etc but that's the fun part.

Take the front stock gsxr fender off. I had mine on for a while and I was planning on leaving it but it is just t0o big. It makes the bike look so much better without it. I know of a company that will be producing smaller fenders for our exact swaps soon.

So far I like the GSXR fender, I do agree it makes the bike look much bigger! I wonder if that Bandit is an aftermarket or just a trimmed stock fender.

Given the level of finish on the bike, and the designer involved, I doubt it's a trimmed down GSXR fender.  Probably an autoclaved carbon fiber custom piece!  Then again, maybe they just took a Dremel to a stock fender.  It looks nice!

I have a spare hotbodies gsxr race front fender that I am going to take a variable speed right angle grinder too. Ill report back with pictures of a nice piece or an abomination.

I've always really enjoyed the GSXR front end swap. This is a fantastic build. Good work and good updates.

Nothing really knew. I started to smooth out the weld on the exhaust where we added some tubing. I believe these are Mac headers but someone can correct me if I am wrong.
I also started to do a rough polish on the collector and was thinking about doing all of the exhaust. I think it will all look better coated in black though. If I was filthy rich I would have a stainless steel exhaust made.

No luck. I had to order a pressure regulator for my air compressor so I am waiting on that.
