The former DWTS dancer and now singer and movie star cuttie Julianne Hough is being jump on pretty hard about her Halloween costume she wore to a party a few days ago. I think it's ridiculous, what's your opinion?

There is no excuse for blackface in this day and age. I don't care if you are some homeschooled white chickenhead from Utah, you should know better. If you know about the history of blackface then you would know this is a very derogatory and insulting thing to people of color. People get angry about this for good reason.

+1 Retro. Just looks likes she spent some time in the tanning booth or used some self tanning lotion or spray.

As a example of a blackface here is a pic of Al Jolson ( I know everybody has heard of him) a actor from many years ago with and without his stage make up on. Degrading very, but any resemblance to Julianne's Halloween get up ???

IT wasn't blackface in the generic sense which would be racsist. She was imitating the character "crazy eyes" in "Orange is the new black" (black in terms of clothing not skin color, that's just a coincidence.)

If you've ever seen the show, you'd say, maybe OK.

Still it was poor taste, how many people would know?,  and when another (thousands) choice exists, why not go another way?
