will 78 jugs fit a 77 engine?
« on: May 01, 2014, 04:46:10 PM »
Hey guys wanted to know if 78 750k cylinder jugs will fit a 77 750k engine?
snapped off a bolt in my jugs and then snapped off two drill bits and an easy out inside of the bolt. :(
No machine shops in my area will touch it.

Nope. I made quite the mess of it to. I"m pretty sure the threads are messed up now.

77 and 78 engines are compatible with each other.  I am not sure how identical they are to the F Super Sport engines but they are similar. There are some differences between these K7-K8 motors and the K0-K6 engines.

77/78 K engines are basically F Super Sport engines from 75/76
