Ed how did you get the chain guard to look that good? Did you find a NOS one or paint it?

I ended up painting it with spray can paint specifically for plastic.  I bought it at Auto Zone.

I'm not surprised you missed that build thread, you spent most of your time in hospital and I'm glad you did.
Without your visits, I would have gone round the bend looking at the walls.

Perhaps I can clarify the situation: I think it would be fair to say he made friends with a man that is a "pain in the ass" generally. Maybe this is the source of the confusion and conjecture?  ;)
