A newly married couple are in their honeymoon suite and are about to settle down for their first sex encounter. The groom starts taking off his shoes and the bride shrieks"What is wrong with your feet?" He says "OH,I have toelio." She says"You mean polio?" He says"No,I have toelio." So he takes off his pants. She jumps up and shouts"What in the world is wrong with your legs?" He tells her"I have kneezles." She replies"You mean measles?" He says"No,I have kneezles."He pulls off his briefs and she jumps up....."Oh my GOD!!!!....you have small cox too!!!!!!!"

Apparently some people do, even in real life.

Nothing. It's a pity that youngsters today treat 'the first time' the same way they treat everything else....as disposable income. Unfortunately, unlike income, you can't earn more 'first time'.

I guess I see nothing wrong with it as long as the first time is done responsibly. But then I really dont place much stock in marriage.
Why should I when over 50% end in divorce. Maybe I just prefer to kick the tires before I by the bike! :D
That said, I have been with the same person for 9 years and am not married, at least not in paper or by a church but then it has to be in your heart and that is what is important. Not what some church or law states.

Fortunately divorce stats are a little better north of the border....not much though. 40%. Hereabouts if you have co-habited with a partner for six months or more you are considered as a partnership in everything but marriage law. Being the old fashioned geezer that I am I see no problem with co-habiting couples not getting married, unless there are children involved. Just my 44 cents worth. (4 cents + inflation)

Perhaps if more people would "place much stock " in marriage they would rush into it and hence end up married, and divorced.

I have nothing against anyone that just wants to live with someone unmarried, its everyone's perrogative to do what they feel is ok.

I just dont think people should take the marriages they are in so lightly as some do, it is a commitment and a contract, people shouldnt be able to back out of contracts they make, if you agree to marry someone you had better mean it because you should be "stuck" with them for better or worse..

thanks for letting me rant,
I'm getting married in 5 weeks and i take marriage very seriously

Personally I think that 'no fault' divorce was the beginning of the end.

indeed

There are exceptions to my rule, for example if the partner was abusive or contracted some sort of STD from Whoring around, the innocent partner shouldnt have to stqay with them under those circumstances, that would be like punnishing them for their spouses mistakes
