750 Airbox's
« on: August 14, 2014, 09:35:57 PM »
Today i got to doing some work on the bike , i hung the airbox in the frame and noticed it says CB750-F. The bike is a 74 750K (K4) do I have the correct airbox for the K model with the stock carbs?

I looked in my stash and found 2 different kinds of airboxes

- CB750-F     which i assume is for K models
- CB750F-F   which i assume is for F models

For whatever reason they all have that F stamp. K model boxes 76 and older have the wing nuts at the bottom for splitting open.

Just another tick for why my bike is a basket case. :P

She's a mix-matched (former) basket case, but she's mine.

Wing nuts are correct for a K5.

Wing nuts are correct for a K5.

Just rechecked the fiche. You're right! Rhonda is still a basket case, though. :P
