No worries I've made mistakes before...one reason I won't commit the bike until it's goes down the road. It's really only a stop gap till next year when a proper power plant can be assembled. There is still always the '73.
76  Auto Frame & swing, 78 K clutch engine 17" al rear hoop and hub.... hit me with the bad news
L

Larry, Billy will be able to run through what fits what with you.
Basically, all part will fit together but the Chain alignment can be a pain as I found out when I tried to mate a K arm with the Auto Frame. Also, the left hand shock won't align.

Thanks Sam...
I'm just going to stick with the stock A frame and swing arm for the moment. The thought had been to go with the F swingarm and rear disk but there is no time for that.  If I don't get it to a test and tune before Valdosta it'll just be long for the ride. Time and money....

Keep digging Larry, you can make it.

I got a few more parts in and a some more from my stash. I raked the frame and extended the swingarm. I hope to have a basic roller in a couple days.

Larry, that's what I'm saying. I think the Auto swinger and back end of frame are the same as the F units in respect of chain line up. I think you'll be ok with the LATE K motor as I think the gearbox sprocket sticks out of the motor as far as it does on the F and Auto. Just the back wheel to worry about.

For future reference I'll post pictures of the F and A swing arm together. The A  is slightly longer overall as I recall.
After a pep talk from $2Bill I think we're ok....
The new Shinko (sorry no Hook up) got here today, Steering stem bearing (All Balls tapered) installed, Waiting on swing arm bushings.
Waiting on a base gasket and adjustable cam sprocket and the top end will go on and the engine back in...
here was todays' test fit
And YES Bill mostlykinda white/red....Still looking for a lid...

Sadly only the 712 (130 90h-17 $65 bucks)...the Hookup was just out of my budget and I thought too wide....And it'll be a street bike too so some compromise.

Good..............that's another one of those 'one year only' parts. After months of looking, I found one on ebay for my salt-flats project.

Its day 6 and I have a roller. Parts are coming in and ordering more on a daily basis. So far to this point all the parts I've had on hand.

That's where I hope to be with engine mounted, still awaiting the new front tire. Kinda funny we both have similar colored tanks to start with. Mine won't be that color if it gets there....
