my cbx..dont run the others so often,,after i got it ..but need a kaburettor thek..so this vinter are  kaburettor procjekt on program
run like a dream..screming power and fine kontroll in high speed..and no mekanic or elektric problems like mine sohc..and breaking power are a bit better(not perfekt) but for a 1978 bike ,,,just fine..just renember to breake a bit erlyer then on a modern bike

but still like my cb 550..simpel easy and fun...and the 550 engine are a marster piece skulpulture...looks fantastic

Very nice in Blue. I don't recall ever seeing a Blue one in The States. Perhaps they were not offered in that color here?
BTW, I am 1/4 Danish.

I guess I was talking about my own kids, not all the other ones out there.

I have lots of fun bikes and many of them are the favorite for this ride and then I tend to switch to another for that ride often in the same day.
All of them (street bikes) have 90-150HP and any one of them would suite the average good to skilled rider.
I also have a few very nice dirt bikes. They all have 35-55HP and slight variances in weight/handling.
It is nice to have a choice.    (BTW, Yes, I am addicted.)

hey... cbx vas only sold in red, black, and silver...and prolink tourings in gray and vhite..  so the blue are non factory..
have some bubbels in tank..so repaint are in planing..

My '88 RC0 (VFR750R) . A racer with lights on. Small, light, incredible handling and scary fast if you want that. Most of all the sound and looks.

And it has only one seat, so I can be selfish and say to my legion of women friends that I must go for a solitary ride.

My kids will inherit it as I won't be selling it any time soon. Unless someone wants to swap a running CR93.

Of all the bikes I've owned(see  signature) is the V45 Interceptor.   The bike refused to be ridden slower than 70, so I sold it before I started accumulating massive quantities of speeding tickets. Regretted it so much I tried to buy it back but the idiot I sold it to but he had trashed and thrashed it beyond belief,  ride the Sabre and PC now...Larry

My favorite Kawasaki (I now have two) is my '75 900 Z1B.  Spent a year restoring it to stock and have loved every minute, great styling, plenty of power and despite of what you've read, handles good. 

Think I will ride this one today.....

Thanks Johnie.  OEM exhaust is impossible to find, but repops from Japan are available and supposedly made from the original tooling. The fit and finish were perfect, but was a big hit to my "bike fund"!

Can see why that is your favorite non Honda Stev-o Everything on this bike looks great, but for some reason the first thing that gets my attention and my eyes focus on is the way Kawasaki designed and cut the front fender and did the black front center hub. That combination hits it out of the park.

Thanks dhall.  I like the front fender too, it's also a stout fork brace as well. I haven't restored the front end yet, I plan to change out the spokes on the front to stainless, already did the rear when I took off the goofy 16" rim it came with.

I take it that you changed it to the stock 18" rim? Where did you get the SS spokes?

Yes, bought a 18" DID rim, polished the hub and laced the ss spokes from Buchanan's. And Avon Roadrider tires....very happy with them.

I finished out the late season riding with around 400 + miles on my 'new' 75 Z1B and have to admit it had a little more fun factor than the CB750 but everybody loves a new toy.  Hard to pic a favorite though, as a 71 750 with some growling stock HM300's is a gas also.

I agree. My Seeley is my "Ferrari": it makes a wonderful sound, and is capable of cruising for long distances, but I've gotten more smiles per mile from my 1982 CR480 dirt bike. It was the first bike (or car) that I ever bought brand new. It makes an awful sound, but only weighs 227 pounds dry, has a claimed 51 HP, and 12" of suspension front and rear.
