K7 CB750 K vs F Tank Length
« on: September 14, 2015, 05:16:57 PM »
I have a 1977 K model CB750 and just did a new rear seat hoop and seat.  I'm now wanting to swap to an F tank.  Any idea if they are the same length?  I'd really love to not have to redo the seat and the subframe.  Thanks guys!

Unfortunately, they are not the same length.  Not a huge difference though.

F tank is about an inch longer, although it does use the same mountings on the frame so no changes needed there. You'll need to reduce the length of the seat though, or find a way to move it back (if you've already done a frame hoop I'm thinking you won't want to do that).
