Atta boy Sean, that's the way to git'er dun! Hope you had a safe ride, smooth sailing, maybe even got some sunshine on your ride today.
umm, no...actually have not seen sunshine since last Thursday?  ...actually rode in leather snowmobile pants all weekend.

Well, too bad, but we broke out of the gloom (Joaquin?) about noon today for a beautiful afternoon. Hope it is coming your way, you won't need those leather pants.

He's going to be hungry when he gets there, hope the food will satisfy his hunger. Does he like french fries or baked Idaho potatoes?  I am betting that it is baked as you can prepare them on the headers during a ride... ;)

The pimpo-saurus is here.  Thanks Dennis.  This is the first time I've I had to receive one of the GZs in a box.  I'll touch base with Mooshie when she gets back from her travels next week.  So far the weather is holding nicely.

It has been a warmer than normal summer and fall so far. I have a suspicion the winter is likely to be late like last year and ferocious when it does arrive. So, enjoy PZ's visit,  try and keep him out of the drunken splurges & rampages of previous years in his misspent youth.

The seasonal change is usually abrupt around here but the long range forecast is looking favorable for the next couple of weeks.

Better in a box than not at all. ;)
Turned into a week's worth of winter here last week, at least when compared to 3 months of 85-95*. I was tempted to light the pilot on the heater, but refrained. However, I did add a blanket to the bed. ;D

We're gonna have some awesome waves this winter.  P-Z needs to go surfing.  That's all I'm saying'  Of course right now the water is "closed" because of an "aggressive shark" . . . F U - It's P-Z! He can handle a damned shark.

The box only had PZ and the logbook.  Not only was the food gone, but the lizard must be potty trained.

Seal Beach has a checkered history with lots of great white attacks there on a periodic basis. Saw a show on Discovery channel that talked about the cyclic nature of the attacks. Rather scary stuff I think. Especially since the attacks were in late September through October.

Hi Greg I am back in CA.  Weather in Kentucky/Indiana was fantastic.  Wish I had Dash with me then.  So what do you have in mind for a ride?

Hi Greg I am back in CA.  Weather in Kentucky/Indiana was fantastic.  Wish I had Dash with me then.  So what do you have in mind for a ride?

I looked at the map to see what would be interesting.  We could meet in northern CA, maybe somewhere around Redding.  That would be about 500 miles one way for each of us.  Do you want to ride that far?  I'm thinking the weekend of the 23rd, meeting Saturday morning the 24th.  If we wait much after that, the weather can become pretty iffy.  Right now the forecast looks like high pressure will hold after this weekend's wave passes through.  What do you think?

Greg: I can't ride that weekend.  Meeting in Northern CA is fine for me but not on those dates.
What is our second choice?

I am fairly flexible as long as the weather holds. Let me know when you have time to ride and we'll see what we can work out.

Greg.........If you travel past Goose Lake on Hwy 395.........then SE on Hwy 299...........you will pass through McArthur where my daughter, Dr. A.J. is chief of staff at the hospital. Further down the road is Burne where she works daily clinic hours. A few interesting things to note along the road.............Canby...........and several side roads.........Cassell............take you past the Levi Strauss and Clint Eastwood ranches (a few pickup trucks and bikes in the barn).  Hwy 299 continues to the Pacific and is a WONDERFUL ride.

Mt. Shasta and Klammath Falls have great scenery .............but watch for SNOW ;)

Thanks Dennis, i've been down that way and you are right, great riding. I haven't been down there for a few years, so it seemed to be a good option to meet up with Mooshie.  Rather than US95 to Winnemuca, then I80. That would be a snooze.

You are right about snow, that is high country and anything can happen this time of year there.  This system that just went through is wet and cool so we have seen our seasonal change. Looks dry on the route through to the weekend with highs in the low 60's and lows in the high 20's but another system will be along.

Hi Greg:
I can't seem to find time this month for a ride out to meet up with you and PZ.  Is December out of the question weather wise?  You need to let me know what the window is.
