The story, 1980 a friend of mine was holding a bike for his friend who was locked up, something happened and i was offered to buy this "bike." Showroom condition 1976 CB400F SS (Red Tank, Black side covers, Chrome stock pipe, and an extra kerker that breathed nice, and a vetter that worked when your chin was on the tank,) no dents no scratches 800 miles on it, $400.00. Not being into hondas I bought it anyways. Rode the crap out of it, few years later picked up a 75' 400F Yellow for free. For mostly parts. Never was the Red one baby'd..Only at donut shop did some dude walk past my bike got in his car and backed up, knocked it over bent the peg. Sometimes I give it a 5 or 10 year break. Getting it back on now, kind of a puzzle, gummed carbs and hard rubbers, i don't put no money in new nothin. That's what I like about input here, I'm learning more! I do have a brand new looking cb750 seat gonna trade for a same quality 400 seat. mine is down to the seat metal. That's the story. Nice to meet you all.
