Topic: Rear position light wont work....

So, my rear position light does not want to reveal my position in traffic. It's kind of a problem when the sun goes down.
The brake light does however want to reveal to the traffic that i am braking on my cb400F.
I have tried to the following:
new bulp = still the same only brake light works
New fuse = no change
Battery recharged = no change.

Where should i consider looking?

If you are speaking about the center brake light. Did you replace it with a dual filament bulb? One filament handles the running light, the other the brake light.

you got 3 vires to the rear light..one ground(normaly green)...and one for brake light and one for rear light...so thek for voltage at the 2 light vires...use a test bulb..or a multimeter.
.but use a kontrolled good ground on the bike frame ..by testing for voltage...you cant trust your ground ..before it are kontrolled in the light housing..so make a one ekstra to test ..just vire a ekstra vire up from the engine ground..

that 750 diagram have many kommon Things vith 400 and 550..i dont have a 400 spec diagram

The brown wire was cracked, right before the tubing into the lamp housing....
