Found two number 4 clutch end plates, that worked perfectly.  All clutch packs rebuilt and and ready to go back in! Bill

POP'S, I'm installing case studs tonight,  the last 2 came in. With a little luck the cases go together tonight! The heads with Mike and in good hands, the Pace head ,the guides were ok as I thought,  Mike said a valve job, he cleaned up the cylinder that ingested sumpin, I sent new SS valves, springs and Ti retainers! But POP's I heard another automatic that'll be there today. ....Chad may have his hands full ! Lol, hehe!, Bill

Scottly,  I can barely keep up myself!  ;D, Bill Lookee here!

Just keep up with the fact that you've got 21 days left to have at least one race ready bike.  Now might be a great time to focus on only one bike so you can get it tested and all the bugs shaken out. This is your year to shine my friend.

I would hope that someone will bring a SOHC 750 clutch bike so I can make a pattern for my " Simple lift your left toe, full open throttle shifter, electric kill, with NO WOORRIES about air leaks or a missed shift " seems some folks lose many rounds with their AIR SHIFTERS leaking !!!!
Bill MWS :     Frank in the 10's has a good point on the time running out for Man Cup as my GT650 HAWK for the V-TWIN class is ready but no time runs on my track [ closed till end of April ] have been made, only a fool goes to a race to try out a new bike for the first time..... with leaks and parts held on with tie wraps which break and fall off under your rear wheel and throw you down and out on the run, seen that happen.

That's the first time I ever heard RC ran anywhere near that quick on his auto. Bar stool gospel? How accurate is that piece of information?

Accurate or not (sorry, I got serious doubts), your 9.95 @ 139 is certainly a noble target!   ??? ;)  8)

I've seen those numbers also. I have no idea where that MPH would come from only having two speeds, 20,000 RPM maybe.. Lol

Keith,

The information came from an article about the RC auto, in Modern Cycle magazine, the November 1977 issue.

Bill has a copy coming, so I'm sure the article will end up here for all to examine and judge.

1st gear on an auto is roughly 2nd/3rd gear, and high gear is roughly the same as 5th...
