My records were Dragbike! USA, they had their Northwest Nationals in Spokane WA and I was from Seattle.
All the classes (XH - I told Tom Laughlin it meant Extinct Honda) for SOHC motors were soft, in fact there was a 15% displacement factor (in our favour) to run in the open classes.
All my Glory Days stuff is boxed away, someday I'll get it out again, I have only one picture of our Top Fuel car by the computer. You'd never know a drag racer lives in my wife's house.
My quickest was
10.00 @ 143mph XH/MB in Comp. That was the 736cc stock rods & piston (grenade) motor 754 Frank mentioned.
I won that event, and Yes I had it torn down WITH PRIDE for record verification.
Don't remember the other numbers, but also ran my street bike in Production Eliminator for the Stock - Super Stock - Experimental Stock records back then. Your dial in was based on the class national record, so it really helped to be able to run the number.
Good luck guys!
