Cb750 clear clutch cover

So my dad brought some scrap acrylic from work and I thought it would be a good idea to make a clear clutch cover. So with a few old bits from work I started carving away. It may or may not work but hey it's fun to make. Doing some reserch This plastic melts 100 degrees hotter than the engine will get on a hot day so hopefully that won't destroy it. One worry will be the clutch actuator applying enough pressure to crack it. May be a little crappy because I'm using an old drill press and worn bits that were used on a cnc and just moving around by hand, but hell who cares if it works, it works. I'll update as I get further and this will be one of many as work out kinks. Maybe I'll sell them if they're good enough who knows.

Man, i will give you an A+ for effort..
 Cool idea, hope the screws dont crack it ..but they are low torque.. Using he kicker would probably break it.. Be sorta cool to see oil swirling in there..

Man would you have fun with a milling machine and rotary table..

Yes, cool project but acrylic probably won't be durable enough.
Lexan might work better.

Well my dad said they get lexan at work every once in a while so if this has problems cracking I can try lexan and hopefully it won't crack.

Is it too late to groove it for an o-ring rather than a gasket?

I have a laser cutter at school with the right measurements it would be a dodle to cut
